Administrative Department of Education, Culture and Sports

The Administrative department for education, culture and sports performs administrative and professional tasks in the field of secondary and primary education, culture, sports and technical culture, proposes public needs and monitors the implementation of public needs in the area within its scope, coordinates investments and maintenance and proposes the development of a network of institutions within its scope, monitors and encourages the development of science and technology.

Department activities:

The department also carries out entrusted tasks of state administration which are recently assigned to the County by special laws and which relate to tasks of establishing conditions for the establishment of theatres, sports activities, activities of preschool education and education, activities of primary and secondary education and education, as well as adult education and technical culture.
• preparation and implementation of the budget in the part that refers to the decentralized functions of primary and secondary education, as well as public needs in culture, sports, technical culture, preschool, primary, secondary and higher education
• planning of current and investment maintenance, procurement of equipment and emergency interventions, construction of capital facilities for primary and secondary education
• proposing a network of institutions from its scope
• conducting competitions and examinations of primary and secondary school students
• preparation of drafts of general acts within the Department's scope of work
